We collaborate closely with the UN Independent Expert on the Rights of Persons with Albinism, Ms. Muluka-Anne Miti-Drummond, and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Xueli Abbing, driving joint projects that combat discrimination and protect human rights for people with albinism.
Since 2022, the Global Albinism Alliance has partnered with the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS) and the International Foundation for Dermatology (IFD) to advance global skin health for people with albinism, including a 2024 webinar series with GLODERM.
We also work with the European Reference Network for Rare Skin Disorders (ERN Skin) and organize key events such as the World Congress on Rare Skin Disorders and the International Scientific Conference on Albinism.
Additionally, we collaborate with the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and several World Health Organization (WHO) departments, supporting research, education, and policy initiatives that improve the lives of people with albinism worldwide.
